Recent Works: My First One Woman Show! I recently performed a 10 week run of an adaptation of the original Hans Christian Anderson fairytale, The Little Mermaid, at ZACH Theatre in Austin. I played the storyteller among other characters in an intimate “in the round” black box space. I choreographed and collaborated on the adaptation to revamp the timeless tale to engage all audiences. Check out my photos page for performance photos and video page for the sizzle reel.
Just opened my first equity production of Fabulation, or the Re-Education of Undine by Lynn Nottage at the Billie Holiday Theatre. I worked as Associate director on this project alongside the brilliant, Martavius Parrish. We had the privilege of creating with communication and guidance from Lynn Nottage herself and worked with an unbelievable team of performers and designers. The show runs until May 19th!
My Off Broadway Debut! Joan of Arc in a Supermarket in California with The Tank NYC, was a site-specific work performed in a Brooklyn bodega. The production was sold out with added performances and it received recognition from Vulture and Time Out.
I had the privilege working on the horror-thriller feature, House of Abraham, as a supporting cast member. The film was mentioned in Variety and the cast includes Natasha Henstridge, Lukas Hassel, and Lin Shaye. The film has been completed and I am attending a private screening in the upcoming weeks!
Recent Accolades: Won the B. Iden Payne award for Outstanding Dance Choreography for the production of The Wizard of Oz with Impacts Arts Summer Stock Austin
A little about me:
I am a NYC based artist, originally from Austin, TX. I grew up as a big sister in a family of all girls. I started dancing at the age of three and developed a passion for language at an early age from my father’s love of music and my mother’s love of literature. Over time, my poems and short stories blossomed into scripts, dance evolved from recreational sport to craft, and my passion for performance flourished. I graduated from the University of Texas in 2021, receiving my Bachelor of Arts in Acting and Sociology with an entrepreneurship minor from the McCombs School of Business. While in school, I started working professionally, performing in numerous musicals, plays, and film shoots, on the regional level at ZACH Theatre, at local Austin theaters, and with various independent Austin filmmakers.
I am a proud multi-hyphenate finding joy in acting, writing original speculative fiction works, directing for the stage and film, teaching young aspiring artists dance, and choreographing movement pieces.
I am also proud to announce that I am currently developing a Afrofuturist, fantasy television series! The pilot and series bible are projected to be completed by Summer 2024.
I am represented Collier Talent Agency in the Southeast and I am seeking representation in the city.
